Very Good Jambiya Dagger from South Iraq - 13521

A very good example of a Jambiya dagger from Iraq, most probably from the South, Basra area. The deeply curving blade is 9 inches long, with a shallow central rib. The hilt is carved from a solid piece of horn with a flared down curving pommel corners. The scabbard is mounted with decorative chased silver locket and chape Separated with leather band (later). Total length 15 inches. Very good condition. Minor dents on the silver parts. |
