This dagger is coming from Africa, may be from the Songye tribe of Zaire, probably ceremonial. Copper blade with some engraving 12 inches long. Hardwood handle with finely carved two faces pommel. Hardwood scabbard bound with reptile skin bands and rattan binding. Total length 23 inches. very good condition. few age cracks on the wood. A nice mid 20C. item of great aesthetic values.
