Up for sale is this very fine 18C. short Ottoman Miquelet rifle. Very fine barrel, twisted steel, 23 inches long, Octagonal shaped. Miquelet lock of fine quality inlaid with silver. The short and massive wood stock and butt are fully inlaid with ivory, green dyed ivory and set with brass rondels in beautifull design. Total length 35 inches. Very good condition. Lock in working order. A rare item in size and quality.
