This large and unusual spear is Indian, early 19 C. or earlier. The spear blade is of rectangular cross section 19 1/2 inches long. Four spikes are mounted at the bottom of the blade. Two 6 inches long each and two reversed 2 inches long each. The blade is mounted via a steel socket 7 inches long on a thick wood haft with a conical shaped steel tail. Total length 93 inches. Very good condition. Age cracks on the haft but it holds very solid.
