This is a good set of two Chinese short swords in a common scabbard. These swords are sometimes related to the Boxer wars in the turn of the 20 C. but they are not necessarily so, although the dating to the early 1900’s is correct. Heavy, wide blades, 16 inches long 3 inches wide. Steel cross guards with D guards. Wood grips bound with ropes. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. Old labels are attached to the blades.
