This Klewang style sword is most probably used by the Ache people of Sumatra, late 19 - early 20C. The massive blade is 18 1/2 inches long, 1/2 inch thick with a down curving false edged spine. The handle is finely carved black horn. Total length 24 1/2 inches. very good condition. Blackened spots on the blade. No scabbard.
