Here we offer an unusual short sword probably from the Malabar coast. Single edged fullered blade 18 inches long. Very nice handle with ivory grip, bronze bolster and bronze parrot shaped pommel. Total length 28 inches. Very good condition. Hair thin age cracks to the ivory. Nicely patinated blade and bronze mounts. Late 18 or early 19C.
