This Sewar knife is from Sumatra late 19C. The blade is 9 inches, nicely laminated, slightly down curving and single edged. Carved horn handle with gilded silver collar and set with a silver coin of Queen Victoria. Finely grain wood scabbard with horn mouth. Total length 14 1/2 inches. Very good condition.
