Up for sale is this very good Vietnamese saber also known as Guom. The single edged fullered blade is slightly curved 26 inches long (Slightly shortened). The hilt is composed of an bone grip with brass lion head pommel with silver eyes (one missing) and engraved brass cross guard and D guard. The scabbard is wood with fine chased brass fittings and inlaid in an intricate pattern of Mother of Pearl decoration. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition.
