A sword of the Fang people residing in the borders area of Gabon and Cameroon. Weapons of the Fang are somewhat different and they are much sought after. This one is old, probably mid 19th Century, 20 inches double edge blade with a flat central rib and lightly engraved at its upper part . Hardwood, cross-shaped hilt with good age patina with wooden langets. No scabbard. Total length 25 inches. Very good condition. very reasonable price.
