This fine, large and rare Tibetan long sword (Ke-Tri) is mid - late 19 C. The blade is 23 1/2 inches long. It is forged from laminated steel folded at the tip of the blade (Hair pin folding) . Steel handle. The grip is bound with silver wire and the pommel is set with big Turquoise stone. Scabbard of steel frame, wood liners covered with colored fabric and finely chased silver panels also set with coral bids and turquoise stone. Total length 33 inches. Very good condition . Very impressive rare sword.
