This fine heavy knife is a version of a Dah, probably Burma, early to mid 19 C. The heavy down curving blade is 14 inches long 2 inches wide. The handle is finely carved from a massive single piece elephant ivory with a silver collar. Total length 21 inches. Very good condition. Good age patina on the ivory. No scabbard. Fine and impressive item.
