A good old Moro Barong. The Barongs heavy leaf shaped blades is known to have superior cutting abilities. This blade is 17 ½ inches long heavy and forged from laminated steel. The hilt is carved from a beautiful grained wood in the classical form, bound to the blade tang with a silver collar. The silver collar is engraved: (C)olin.C.Johnson, Bud Dajo, (?)arch 5-10-1907 (The lower silver ring covers the first letters of the inscription) . Total length 24 inches. There is no scabbard. Very good condition. Minor chips to the wood grip.
