Is32 inches blade is forged from very good Indian Wootz (Crystalline Damascus) steel, welded from two parts in the style known as Scarf Welding, a technique common to good Indian blades. Steel handle also forged from fine wootz steel with delicate pattern and richly decorated with gold koftgari work. . Total length 37 inches. Original polish and etching. Very good condition. No scabbard. Mid 19c.
