This is a very good example of Tulwar sword. It has 33 inches blade, forged from very good Indian Wootz (Crystalline Damascus) steel. The blade is welded from two parts in the style known as Scarf Welding, a technique common to good Indian blades. Very elegant and rare true inlaid silver steel handle. Total length 38 inches. Original polish and etching. Very good condition. No scabbard. 19c.
