This very fine, large and rare Tibetan long sword (Ke-Tri) is mid - late 19 C. The blade is 30 inches long. It is forged from laminated steel folded at the tip of the blade (Hair pin folding) . Silver and White metal combination handle. The grip is bound with silver wire and both the pommel and guard are set with big coral bids. Scabbard of heavy steel frame, wood liners covered with green dyed ray skin and finely chased silver panels also set with coral bids. Total length 36 ½ inches. Very good condition . This sword comes with its original leather belt. Very impressive rare sword.
