This very good and rare Tibetan long sword (Ke-Tri) is mid - late 19 C. The blade is 23 inches long. It is forged from laminated steel folded at the tip of the blade (Hair pin folding) . Steel handle and cross guard with the grip bound with white metal wires and the pommel set with turquoise stone. Scabbard of heavy steel frame with finely chased white metal panel also set with turquoise stones. Total length 30 ½ inches. Very good condition . Very impressive rare sword.
