This very good dagger is early 20C., most probably coming from East Africa – may be Sudanese. The handle shape and dimensions are clearly of East African origin although the blade shape and construction looks more central African. Blade 8 ˝ inches, very well forge with a central “step” and deadly sharpened edges. Ivory handle with disk shaped pommel and engraved circles decoration. Total length 11 inches. Very good condition. Old repair on the handle. Minor edge nicks. No scabbard.
