This very long sword is most probably coming from Chad, Tebu (or Toubou) people. It is unusually long 39 inches, (compared to the 10-11 inches long of the more common ones). Blade 33 inches long with a central rib. The handle is bound with braided leather strips. Original hide scabbard. Very good condition.
