The workmanship and forging quality of this short spear looks Indian to me, late 19C. Blade 9 inches of shallow diamond cross section. 5 ½ inches open socket engraves with a checkered pattern. Total length 42 inches. Very good condition. Tail tip missing (?). Very low price.
