This is a small knife from India in a style of hunting knife. The single edge blade is 5 ½ inches long with one fuller. The hilt is a mosaic of Mother of pearl pieces with green stone (jadeite) pommel and brass bolster. Leather covered wood scabbard. These type of knives and similar daggers were common in the late 19 and early 20 Century and many of them were meant to supply the demand for collectible Asian decorative arts in the European market . There are small pitted areas on the blade. Two MOP pieces are missing
