Here is an unusual African knife from Zaire. We are not sure about the exact origin. It as some features of the Tetela knives and some of Nkundo-Mongo knives. It has doubled edge Blade 8 1/2 inches long. Wood hilt covered with twisted steel and brass sheet on the pommel. Wood scabbard covered with decorated brass sheet as well. Total length 13 inches. Perfect condition. Early to mid 20th century.
