Very impressive Hungarian Presentation Sword with Wootz blade - 13019

This very fine sword is Hungarian, late 19C or early 20th a presentation sword. Fine watered steel wootz kilij type earlier blade 30 inches long with a 10 inches raised back edge. The wood scabbard covered with ray skin and mounted with gilded silver fittings set with Malachite and pink stones. Unusual gilded silver cross guard in a shape of animal feet, sets with malachite stone. The grips are horn with signed pommel (Monogram). Total length 38 inches. Very good condition, minor loss to the ray skin. Very impressive sword.
