This very fine sword is Burmese, late 19C. Heavy blade 21 inches long and 13 mm (1/2 inch) thick with a shallow fuller. Massive ivory grip very finely carved. Silver grip mounts. Wood scabbard bound with rattan strips. Total length 31 ½ inches. Very good condition. Good age patina on the ivory grip. Few binding strips on the scabbard are missing.
