From our private collection we offer for sale this very fine kard knife. Indian, late 18 or early 19C. Massive highly polished blade 10 ½ inches long. Very fine black wootz steel of good contrast, one of the best we have seen. (probably original polish and etching) Wootz steel grip strap and black horn grips. Leather covered scabbard. Total length 16 inches. Very simple in appearance but as best as good steel can get. Very impressive.
