Up for sale is this dress Vietnamese sabre. The single edged grooved blade is slightly curved and lightly engraved. The hilt is pewter and the grip is elephant molar bone with pewter pommel. The scabbard is finely inlaid with a mosaic of mother pearl pieces and mounted with three finely chased pewter fittings. Good condition. Some small dents on the pewter parts. Small repairs on the grip and restored pommel head. A rare piece.
