This sword is coming from Java, Indonesia, late 19 – early 20 C. General shape of a Golok sword handlelong and scabbard but different blade shape and dimensions. 19 inches finely forged narrow blade, of good thickness and with a down curving short back edge. The handle is beautifully carved wood with the pommel in a shape of a Mythological creature. Original wood scabbard. Total length 24 ½ inches. Very good condition. Very minor wood chips on the scabbard.
