Up for sale is this Vietnamese saber. The single edged curved blade is a secondary used French military saber blade 27 ½ inches long. The grip is finely carved elephant ivory with finely engraved brass cross guard and collar, set with colored stones, one missing . The scabbard is black painted steel with finely engraved brass mounts. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. Age cracks on the hilt. Traces of etching on the blade. A fine early 20 C.
