The Assegai, stabbing spear of the Zulu, known for their efficient use as a hunting implement and as a weapon of war. 44 1/2 inches long with an large 11 ½ inches well forged blade, secured with hide binding on the haft. Very good condition. Good homogenous age patina on the blade.
