We offer here for sale a very good and quite unusual Jile Dagger, used by the Danakil people residing in the Horn of Africa. This is a much better specimen than the usual Jile found on the market: A heavy curved and fullered blade, 10 ½ inches long, horn hilt and brass / copper pommel. Thick leather scabbard. Very clear influence of the Arab Jambiya dagger. Very good condition, only minor nicks on the edges and slightly worn scabbard leather.
