We offer for sale this fine sword from Bhutan. It has a straight single edge 24 inches long blade, forged from fine laminated steel in the pattern known as Hairpin Folding. The folded layers can be clearly seen at the blade. A similar laminated steel is also used in the Tibetan Ke-Tri long swords. The grip is wood bound with twisted silver wires. White metal or low grade silver heavy scabbard over wood chased and gilded. Total length 31 inches. The pommel is pierced and gilded. Good condition small repair to the pommel. An impressive sword.
