This fine Dah sword is most probably of Burmese origin, late 19 C. The blade, 24 1/2 inches long, is heavily inlaid with silver images of mythological figures of animal and people on both sides and on the heavy spine. The handle is wood with silver collar and pommel. Wood scabbard with silver mountd and red cotton rope binding. Total length 34 ½ inches. Very good condition.
