This African battle Axe is rather early, late 19 – early 20C. It is most probably coming from Zaire, Central Africa but we are not sure as for the exact origin. Steel blade 6 inches long, 2 ½ inches wide, inserted in a black wood (Or may be ebony) haft, carved and simply decorated. Total length 20 ½ inches. Very good condition, Heavily patinated blade.
