A big Spanish folding knife known also as Navaja . It was extensively used in Spain during the 18 and 19 Centuries to cut food as well as to settle personal accounts, and found as a man best companion still today. This one is a 19 Century piece made by Beauvoir signed and marked with the maker sign. 7 inches blade with a 5 inches clipped tip. Handle set with bone and tortoise shell panels and brass fittings. Total length 15 inches fully opened. Very good condition.
