Up for sale is this fine and elegant dagger from Tibet with a strong influence from Bhutan. A stiletto style acute heavy blade 11 inches long forged from folded laminated steel in the pattern known as “Hair Pin” folding. Grip bound with twisted brass wires and pierced brass pommel set with small turquoise stones. Brass scabbard. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition with very minor dents on the scabbard. This is a real and authentic 19 C. piece, NOT one of the many tourist souvenirs daggers from Tibet flooding the market recently.
