This specific type of Khanjar / Jambiya dagger with the whole filigree silver with flat top pommel is coming from Northern Oman and it is also popular over the border in Saudi Arabia. Early - mid 20 C. The blade is 8 inches long, with a central rib. The handle as well as the scabbard fittings are silver. The belt arrangement is composed of seven silver rings connected with twisted silver wires. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition. Large and heavy impressive exemplar.
