This small knife is most probably from Sumatra, late 19 – early 20 C. It remind in shape the classical Sewar knives from the region but the blade is of different shape. Short 5 inches with a 2 inches clipped spine. Relatively heavy. Up swept black horn grip with a swassa (suasa) gold copper alloy collar. Finely carve wood scabbard. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition.
