This rare form of throwing knife is used mostly by the Funj people residing in the valley of the Blue Nile in Sudan (But also used by the neighboring Kirdi people). Very early form 27 inches long decorated with simple geometric line punching. Heavy age patina. This Throwing knife was supposedly collected in 1905 in Sudan and was in a UK collection since than (though we can not substantiate this provenance).
