Up for sale is this Nimcha sword from Morocco, employing a fine blade, 36 inches long, most probably French engraved VIVE LE ROY on one side and with coat of arms and crown on the other side. The handle is carved from a massive piece of horn set with engraved brass collar. The hilt guard and down curving decorative quillons are made of steel. Original wood scabbard covered with leather with carrying cotton belt. Total length 42 inches. A fine piece of quality in very good condition. Scabbard lightly worn and damaged.
