This fine and massive example of a Indian Khyber sword is coming from North India, early – mid 19C. The heavy blade is 22 ½ inches long 2 inches wide, with a pronounced T spine. Massive elephant ivory grips with brass grip strap and steel bolsters. Original wood scabbard with original black leather cover and brass chape (later). Total length 28 ½ inches. Very good condition. Very good age color on the grips ivory.
