This very rare and early sword comes from Oman, late 16 or early 17 C. Very wide 2 1/4 inches 24 1/2 inches long, forged from Wootz (Damascus) steel. Whole steel handle with Turban shaped pommel and down curving quillons.. Total length 32 inches. Very good condition to age. A much rare and sought after sword.
