This fine long spear is Indian, mid 19 C. probably north India. 16 inches long blade of diamond cross section, mounted on wood haft entirely covered with chased silver and ending with a 15 inches long steel tail with ribbed steel ball. Total length 91 inches. Very good condition. Minor losses to the silver cover of the haft. A very impressive long spear.
