This Persian Khnajar is early – mid 19 C. , blade with reinforced edges, forged from fine wootz (Watered, Damascus) steel. Animals and hunting scenes are chiseled on the base of the blade. Blade length 7 ½ inches. Single piece walrus ivory handle. Total length 12 inches. There are several spots of pitting to the blade.
