Up for sale is this very good Saif sword from Ethiopia, early 20 C. Haile Selassie period. The blade is European made, probably British, 31 1/2 inches long, finely etched with floral pattern and with the “lion of Judea” emblem of the emperor. Horn handle. Total length 36 ˝ inches. Good condition. Minor chips on the handle. No scabbard. A very impressive sword.
