This fine Tibetan short sword is also locally known as tsep-sa . Blade of typical Tibetan stiletto dagger shape but longer, 20 inches long, beautifully laminated and folded in the pattern known a Hairpin Folding. The same pattern appears on the long and heavy Tibetan swords. Steel handle bound in its center with twisted silver wires and set with a big coral bid on the pommel. Original scabbard covered with leather and mounted with finely chased silver mounts. Total length 25 inches. Very good plus condition. A fine sword.
