This very fine buckle is Turkish, early 19 C., for use with belts carrying the weapons, Pistols as well as Swords / Daggers. Heavy gilded bronze or brass decorated with fine filigree decoration, all set with big ribbed drop shaped corals stones. Length 12 inches width 4 1/2 inches. Three medallions of green blue enamel decoration. Very good condition. One medallion missing enameling.
