Up for sale is this very nice Mediterranean, Ottoman or Balkan knife. It has a very heavy Blade 8 1/2 long, pierced engraved and dated on the spine to 1278 ( 1861 in the Gregorian calendar). Wood scabbard with two brass mounts and brown leather in between. Very nice horn handle with round brass inserts and brass nails, and set with red stones. Brass collar and small cross brass guard. Total length 14 inches. Very good condition. Very good quality for this type of daggers .
