We offer for sale this fine, very rare and unusual Kindjal / Qama Dagger. It has a 13 inches long double edged blade, finely etched and fullered with a central rib, heavily inlaid with silver in a floral design. Nice horn hilt of classical form with two silver rosettes. The wood scabbard is covered with red velvet and mounted with very nice pierced silver chape and gold inlaid belt ring attachement. The design of the silver decoration is similar to decoration on Persian Qajar arms and armor and suggest Persian or Armenian origin. Very good condition, minor bug bites on the horn.
