This fine Moro Barong sword is late 19 – early 20C. Its 19 ½ inches blade is forged from fine laminated steel and has an unusual thickened and reinforced edge (never seen a similar blade before). The grip is grained hardwood with finely chased brass collar. Original scabbard with nicely carved mouth and tail, bound with cotton threads. Total length 27 inches. very good condition. Fine and impressive Barong sword.
