This heavy belt is of Caucasian origin. It is dated to 1283 (1866 in the Gregorian calendar. 33 inches long, 4 ½ inches wide leather base richly set with 40 Imperial Russian silver coins, multitude of silver buttons and big silver buckle, set with red and green gem stones and finely niello enameled. Total weight 1245 Grams. A unique and rare item.
